Greta Averbach, M.A., L.C.S.W. is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, recently relocated to Portland Maine. Her previous position was a Psychotherapist at Sage Day School in Boonton, New Jersey, a therapeutic high school. She also maintained a private practice specializing in special needs families including those with ASD. Her last legislative position was as a social policy analyst with The New York City Office of Management and Budget where she concentrated on the Human Resources Administration’s child welfare policies. She is very excited to be in Portland and looks forward to becoming active in the social services community.
