FINANCE COMMITTEE
The NASW LGBTQ Committee mission is to provide education, training and consultation concerning issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, and other relevant human sexuality issues to social workers and other human services professionals. The NASW LGBTQ Committee currently meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 8-9AM. We convene via conference call. Political Action for Candidate Elections
PACE: Political Action for Candidate Election Committee helps elect candidates to public office who support legislation and policies consistent with the goals of the social work profession and the needs of those who are served by the social work profession in Maine. The Committee also promotes NASW’s Advocacy Agenda through political action and/or through support of candidates and promotes political education and full participation in the electoral process among members of the social work profession.
